la Torreta Living Nativity 2026
The Living Nativity of the Torreta 2026 (district of the municipality of La Roca del Vallès) is a very close and endearing event that is traditionally celebrated the weekend just before of Christmas With 180 participants and live music, it stands out for its format of guided tours in seven scenes. Review here the logistical details to prepare your visit to Vallès Oriental.
The Experience: Live music and bilingualism
Under way since 1996, the La Torreta proposal runs through the neighborhood's urban environment and is divided into 7 clearly differentiated scenes (Carat solidari, Annunciation, The soup, The village of Bethlehem, Shepherds, the Birth and Departure). The particularity of this crib is that combines dialogues in Catalan and Spanish, all seasoned with small performances and the always welcoming presence of music performed live.
Times and performance dates
- Key dates: La Torreta's calendar is very concentrated. Historically it is organized in a single weekend (the one immediately before Christmas, which in 2026 will predictably fall on the days December 19 and 20).
- Pass system and duration: The visit is structured in closed groups of a maximum of 125 people. Passes are enabled every half hour, starting with the first one at 18:00 h and the last one at 20:00 h. The total duration of the guided route is approximately one hour.

How to get there and practical information
- How to get there: The neighborhood of La Torreta (despite belonging to the municipality of La Roca del Vallès) is literally touching the urban fabric of Granollers. It is very easily accessible via the C-252 and the entrance roads to the capital of Vallès Oriental.
- Parking: It is advisable to use the free parking spaces on the streets around the centre or approach it in advance given the volume of people arriving for each time slot.
- Rain: As it is an outdoor nativity scene, in case of heavy rain the performances could be affected. Check out their channels.
Gastronomy: Where to eat in Torreta itself
As tradition dictates, the route includes a stop at the “El Brou” scene, where visitors receive a cup of hot soup to ward off the winter cold.
At the end of the one-hour route, you won't need to take the car if you feel like sitting down to meal, since the urban plot that surrounds the nativity scene has consolidated restaurant options very close to it epicenter:
- Braseria Menno - La Torreta: Located on Carrer Ramón y Cajal. Specialists in meats in the barbecue and full menus (ideal if you go with the family and are looking for a strong dish).
- Il Fiocchetto restaurant: A few streets away, an excellent Italian and Mediterranean option for a more relaxed meal.
- El Racó d'en Jordi / Restaurant Peix D'or: Towards the Passeig Torrent del Ramassar area (almost entering Granollers) you will find more seafood, tapas and closed menus.
