The Polinyà Living Nativity 2026 reaches its 34th edition as one of the Vallès Occidental’s pre-Christmas highlights. The dedication of local residents and the privileged setting around the Romanesque church turn the visit into a journey through time. The experience: Romanesque church and 90 extras

Polinyà's nativity scene has a history of resilience: it began in 1972 and, after a break of two decades, the neighbors and the Polinyà Group Association revived it with renewed energy in 2006. The entire event comes to life in a soaring and magical place: the Square and the gardens of the Parish of Sant Salvador, of Romanesque origin.

The route is a pleasant walk that combines static tableaux with moving scenes, where close to 90 voluntary extras they give life to the town. During the journey of about three quarters of an hour, visitors are invited to small traditional tastings prepared by the organization.

Times and single performance date

  • Single date: To enjoy this nativity scene you need to book the weekend before Christmas. It is scheduled for a single day: the Sunday, December 13, 2026.
  • Time slots: Two large afternoon-evening passes are established so that the public is can distribute comfortably. The beginnings are marked at 17:30 h and at 18:45 h.
