Sant Fost de Campsentelles Living Nativity 2026
The Living Nativity of Sant Fost proudly holds the title of being the oldest in the Vallès (active continuously since 1967). It is known throughout the territory as “the living nativity scene of special effects in Catalonia”. Below we detail everything you need to know about this great Christmas classic.
The experience: Pioneers in special effects
The non-profit organisation transforms a natural area near the town into a genuine open-air theatre. Its defining feature, which attracts visitors from across Catalonia, is its prominent and pioneering use of special effects and lighting.
These technical resources bring a unique drama and spectacularity to traditional scenes. You will be able to stroll through the various craft stalls, the biblical scenes and the great Nativity while you are surprised by the games of lights, smoke and sound that accompany the action.
Times and performance dates
- Extensive calendar: It is one of the nativity scenes with a longer date range. the Performances begin in mid-December and run over several weekends and holidays well into the month of January.
- Structured steps: To ensure good mobility and comfort, the sessions are usually organized into two evening time slots: usually at 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
Tickets, gift and rain policy
The management of the visits is very professional. We highly recommend you buy tickets online to secure your pass and avoid cold queues at the entrance.
- Rain policy: If bad weather forces the cancellation of a performance, the organisation’s conditions provide for ticket refunds.
- The final gift: Unlike other municipalities, in Sant Fost the visit traditionally ends by offering attendees toast and wine to warm up and talk about the performance
How to get there and where to eat in town
The visit would not be complete without the classic taste of hot soup offered to enter in heat on winter evenings.
The nativity scene is located around the Carrer de Sant Jaume. It is recommended to follow the temporary parking signs in the municipality during the performance dates.
