The experience: More than 34 trades and 300 actors
The nativity scene runs through the interior of the medieval framework of this small and beautiful town in La Segarra. it is a nativity scene of a static nature accompanied by recorded music and a period clothing extremely well cared for.
Its great distinguishing feature is the collective effort to show the excellence of the traditional trades forgotten. With nearly 300 volunteer actors bringing life to more than 34 different scenes, the visitors can observe the use of real tools recovered from the countryside and peasant life that are no longer seen anywhere more
Dates, times and edition passes
This is one of the living nativity scenes with the longest season in the demarcation of Lleida, covering from before Christmas until past Kings:
- Calendar: It opens its doors in mid-December and extends the performances during the weekends and key holidays of Christmas, New Year and early January.
- Organized tours: To manage the large number of visitors in the narrow streets of the old centre, the organization schedules staggered entries every half hour (usually at 18:30 h, 19:00 h, 19:30 h and 20:00 h).
